When you think of a church, what do you see? Probably an impressive building, a nice green lawn, and, a sign, of course. Every church needs a good church sign out front. You also want a nice looking sign, so if your current church is weathered and worn down, you should consider replacing it.
You can choose you church sign from a number of different types. Most church signs, however, are probably a post and panel style. That is a sign panel that is oriented horizontally, held up by two posts on either side. Church signs display the name of the church, and will frequently include other information, such as an address, website, telephone number, service times and perhaps a scriptural quote.
Many church signs use replaceable lettering. This allows churches to display a different spiritual message every week and/or display the topic of that week’s sermon. It also allows the church to display more generic seasonal messages, such as “Merry Christmas”.
